New Case Profile Features
Starting today, for each case in our system, you’ll be greeted by a new, streamlined summary of each case in the Case Profile. Each summary is designed to give an at-a-glance overview of the proceeding, patents at issue, current status, and disposition. Please read below for more details about the latest analytics tools available in your Docket Navigator subscription. Here are several cases if you want to check out the new dashboard for yourself.
Patents, Parties, & Judges
The summary begins with an overview of the patents, parties, and judges involved in the case. In addition to faster load times and a streamlined appearance, we’ve enabled searches by clicking on items in the dashboard. A single click results in a list of the underlying documents and the query we used to compile our case stats.
Case Phase
The next row shows the phase of each case in the litigation lifecycle and the most recent substantive decisions.
Outcomes and Determinations
Finally, view case outcomes by party (in terminated cases) and any judicial determinations made.
Finding & Using Case Profile Analytics
Analytics tools for a specific case can be found exclusively in the Case Profiles. The Case Profile can be accessed by clicking on a case name in Docket Navigator email publications or throughout the search interface. To find a Case Profile from the main search page, begin typing and select the case name in the box labeled Case in the Profiles section.
