Darryl Towell
Chief Executive Officer
Before founding Docket Navigator, Darryl was a patent litigator for more than ten years. After earning a B.B.A. from Abilene Christian University in 1992 and a J.D. from Pepperdine University in 1995, Darryl began his legal career as a law clerk to Hon. Boyce F. Martin, Jr., Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. In 1999, Darryl joined Jones Day as a trial attorney with a focus on complex patent litigation. Darryl is happily married to Karyl (also part of the Docket Navigator team) and the proud father of their teenage daughter.
Amy Towell
Chief Operations Officer
Amy earned her B.B.A. from Abilene Christian University in 1990 and has 25 years experience in finance, marketing, and operations management. As a co-founder and COO, Amy is engaged in most aspects of Docket Navigator’s day-to-day business. She manages information procurement and workflow, assists customers with training and research questions, and helps direct the development of new products and features. Amy is also COO of her family, where she is the mom of 5 awesome children and the wife of a nerdy physics professor.
John Kramar
Chief Technology Officer
John joined Docket Navigator in 2010 right after graduating from university with a degree in Computer Science. It didn’t take John long to be involved in all levels of technology at Docket Navigator, from managing servers to writing backend code to helping with design work. When John isn’t at his desk working on building the next feature he likes to ride his motorcycle through the Texas hill country.
